In subsequent posts, I will not only compare the text itself, but also the style and how the characters refer to each other and how they express their emotions.

Pay attention to the subtle differences, which are important for maintaining the character’s personality.

This is not to say that AI has almost always had a better choice of words, but as far as I can see, it is always better than what Netflix shows. However, in isolated instances, a minor correction by a human would come in handy.

Two things should also be noted. AI knows only what’s in text and the context from previous episodes. In theory, this should always give an advantage to the human translator, who can also see and hear the emotions of the characters. As you can see – this is not the case.

All subtitles are direct AI output. The only things that have been done are the removal of the sounds made by the characters during fights, falls etc and the timing of the subtitles has been improved.
